Before you ask
- How does work get onto the schedule?
- Two queues sit under the calendar: opportunities with nobody going out to look, and jobs you've been paid to do that aren't in the diary. Booking from either carries the customer and the address across.
- Do customers get reminded?
- Only if you turn reminders on. Reminders update automatically when you reschedule, so nobody is told about a time that has changed.
- Does a job need an estimate first?
- No. An accepted estimate becomes a job in one press, carrying the line items over — but a call-out that was never quoted can be a job on its own, created with the customer in the same form.
- How is payment tracked?
- Marking a job complete records that the work is done; payment is a separate status you set when the money arrives. REFERX keeps the two apart so you can see what is finished and what is still owed.
